Accounts and Access

2-factor authentication (2FA) is an extra layer of security designed to prevent unauthorized access to your personal information. It requires you to verify your identity twice—once with your password and once with your mobile device—before you can access sensitive information within FSU systems.

Your FSUID is your username for signing in and accessing many Florida State University systems and resources, including myFSU Portal, Canvas, OMNI and Wi-Fi. FSUIDs are issued to all prospective students, student applicants, students, faculty, staff and some FSU guests and vendors.

myFSU Portal serves as a personal gateway to the links, tools and resources you need to be successful at Florida State University. As a student, you have quick access to your courses and finances, where you can manage everything from financial aid to adding and dropping classes.

Administrative and Business

InCommon Federation is the go-to resource for accessing global research and scholarly collaboration tools. Through InCommon Federation, FSU faculty, staff, students and researchers have access to thousands of global research, library and university databases.
