myFSU Service Center Enhancements

Bringing all ITS service requests together in one place.

The myFSU Service Center enhancement project provides a single platform for campus users to request services and report problems to ITS. By consolidating the various ways to submit technology service requests, students, faculty, staff and external vendors can make all requests in one place with one form.

Starting July 1, 2024, users can use myFSU Service Center to submit requests for all billable and nonbillable technology services.

Why?

ITS is committed to continuously improving how our customers request and receive support for technology services. This project officially retires legacy systems that could pose future security risks and replaces them with a more secure, streamlined system.

How?

Through dynamic integrations, ITS will improve our business processes. Our customers no longer need different forms or processes for various ITS services. Instead, they use one form in myFSU Service Center for all requests and repairs, further improving the user experience. This new method replaces the Technology Service Request (TSR) and Repair Request (RN) forms.

FAQs

When will the new process take effect?

All technology services requests and repairs will route through myFSU Service Center beginning July 1, 2024. Starting on that date, customers will use myFSU Service Center to submit all nonbillable requests, and ITS will officially move to the new AiM system for all billable services. New service requests for billable services will begin using the new submission process in mid-June.

Will external customers still be able to submit requests?

Yes, external customers can submit service requests using myFSU Service Center to request a service or report a problem. They do not need an FSU login to submit the form.

Will TSRs and RNs still be available?

No, these forms will be retired in July 2024 and replaced with the new solution using myFSU Service Center.

Will I be trained on how to use the new AiM system?

Yes, ITS will provide training and resources for all ITS staff to ensure everyone is ready for the change. Additionally, we will continue to provide support post-launch to make this change as smooth as possible.
