FAQs

Who should attend these events?

The Coffee Chats at Innovation Wednesday at the Innovation Hub and the Snack & Learn at the College of Medicine's auditorium are lectures open to faculty and staff who are interested in learning more about how to improve learning and research with Google’s AI tools.

The Tech Tent on Landis Green is open to all members of the FSU community to learn more about Google products that are free for students.  We will be giving away free merch and there will be hands on tutorials.

Do I have to register for the event to attend?

No! Registration is not required, but recommended to ensure we have enough staff  (and food) on site throughout the day.

What Google tools can students, faculty and staff access?

As part of Florida State University’s partnership with Google for Education partnership, certain platforms are protected under our agreement. These include: Gemini, NotebookLM, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Meet, Vids and Keep.

Are there other trainings for Google Tools other than this one day?

Yes! ITS offers trainings and resources online for you to learn more about Google for Education. Visit the FSU Google for Education webpage to learn more.
