Institutional Security

As the cybersecurity landscape constantly evolves, FSU must increase efforts to fortify the university against future cyberattacks.

In an institutional security initiative supported and funded by President McCullough, ITS is strengthening the university’s cybersecurity infrastructure by providing several enterprise-wide security tools, resources and programs. With these security tools and programs in place, FSU is poised to respond to cyberthreats through an aggressive and multifaceted approach.

Why is it important?

Strengthening the university’s cybersecurity environment will position FSU to remain ahead of the modern threat landscape. Advanced defense suites and recurring audits will reinforce the security of FSU devices and data and minimize the risk of data breaches and insider threats.

Who is it for?

The adoption and implementation of the security tools and programs outlined below is mandatory for all university business units. By working together, we can protect the FSU community from cyberattacks.
