FSU Launches New myFSU Portal in Response to Community Feedback

Tuesday 08/26/2025

Florida State University has soft-launched a revamped version of myFSU Portal, marking a significant milestone in the institution’s ongoing commitment to improving the digital campus experience. The new portal, accessible now via the “Portal Beta” button in the top right corner of the existing myFSU platform, offers students, faculty and staff a refreshed, user-friendly environment designed in direct response to community feedback.

The updated portal features streamlined navigation, customizable dashboards and enhanced accessibility, all designed to provide a seamless digital experience. The project underscores FSU’s dedication to fostering a connected campus and supporting the success of its diverse academic community.

The myFSU Portal team, led by project director Austin Myers, undertook the challenge of transforming the portal into a more intuitive tool. “Our approach was simple: listen, learn and allow the data to drive design decisions,” Myers explained. “We heard the feedback loud and clear, and my team collaborated closely with students, faculty and staff from all corners of the university to ensure the new environment truly reflects their needs. This was a group effort, and I’m grateful to everyone who contributed to making this a reality.”

I am incredibly proud of the work our teams have accomplished on this project. It is a shining example of what we can achieve when we work together to positively impact so many people across our campus.

The myFSU Portal will transition to the new design for all users starting in January 2026.
