LinkedIn Learning is an online professional development website that offers free access to over 13,000 videos and training courses, courtesy of Florida State.
To make the most of this incredible resource, below are the top five LinkedIn Learning courses, on the website:
1. Remote Work Foundations
Now more than ever, it is incredibly important to be adaptable between in-person and remote work, as we enter the post-pandemic era. This course shows you how to use today’s common workplace tools from a remote environment, while still maintaining a connection to your work organization. The instructor teaches viewers how to create a productive work environment, avoid distractions and bond with other remote coworkers to succeed in a remote career.
2. Digital Marketing Foundations
With the rise of digital media upon us, it is important for employees to know how to effectively promote their business online and build a concentrated marketing strategy that reels in potential customers. The instructor, Brad Batesole, simplifies digital marketing techniques and covers all digital channels: search, video, social, email and display.
3. Excel Essential Training
Being well-versed in Microsoft Excel saves a lot of potential time and headaches. The instructor, Dennis Taylor, goes over basic Excel functions, PivotTables, and introduces a few intermediate skills as well. This course could be the first step in the journey to becoming Excel certified.
