The myFSU Portal and Mobile web application have been redesigned to enhance the user interface and improve key functional requirements necessary to augment the overall user experience.
What is myFSU Portal?
myFSU Portal serves as a personal gateway to the links, tools and resources you need to be successful at Florida State University. As a student, you have quick access to your courses and finances, where you can manage everything from financial aid to adding and dropping classes. Meanwhile, faculty and staff members are provided with snapshots of their timesheet, paycheck and benefits information, with additional links to resources for advising, teaching or administrative functions. From this central location, everyone can manage their FSU account and use the quick links to jump to frequently used websites and apps.
What is changing?
New features include:
- Quicklink Hub - Use this one stop shop to quickly access popular university apps
- Quick Access - Find frequently used university resources
- Customized Content - View up-to-date personalized information
- Campus News - Catch the latest university headlines and upcoming events
- Canvas Integrations – See a snapshot of your grades, classes and Canvas assignments
- Search – Use the new search function to find the information you need
Why the change?
With technology constantly evolving, ITS is committed to creating enhanced experiences for our users. The myFSU Portal and Mobile team met with campus partners and students to develop and test a new Portal experience that solves some of the current complications, limitations and frustrations impacting all users. ITS used this feedback to create a more intuitive and desired experience, making pertinent information easy to access, expanding the visually captivating user interface, introducing new desired features and more.
myFSU Portal Beta
Head to your myFSU Portal and select the “Portal Beta” button in the top right corner to jump into the new environment before the official go-live in January 2026.
