The myFSU mobile application does not require you to disclose your identity while using our mobile application covered by this Privacy Policy. This application does not collect your Personally Identifiable Information. However, we may automatically gather and store general information about your usage of our mobile applications. This data does not personally identify you unless you choose to provide your personal information.
The information we collect is used to track how users interact with our mobile application, enabling us to enhance the user experience and make other improvements to the services and resources available through myFSU mobile. This information is automatically stored and used in aggregate form only, and it is not used to contact you personally. However, anonymous information collected during your use of our mobile application may be linked to you if you choose to provide your personal information to FSU in connection with the use of our myFSU mobile application.
The myFSU Mobile app will not collect your geo-location data unless you opt-in. If you choose to opt-in, the app may use either the device’s geographical coordinates (latitude and longitude) or its proximity to a specific Bluetooth beacon to determine if a push notification should be sent to the device or user. In all cases, location information or Bluetooth beacon proximity is solely used to determine if a push notification should occur. The myFSU mobile application does not track or retain location data. Location data is never used for any purpose other than as described in this Privacy Policy. You may opt-out of sharing your geo-location data at any time using your device’s settings.
