Technology Services Building (TSB) Renovations

Overview

In 2016, Florida State University and Information Technology Services (ITS) acquired the Technology Services Building (TSB) for the purpose of centralizing ITS employees. ITS broke ground on the second phase of the project in 2018, and began efforts to renovate the building and centrally relocate employees who can deliver services remotely into a consolidate workspace. As part of the project, ITS also performed major renovations on another existing ITS building, the Rod K Shaw building on the main Tallahassee campus. The goals of the new buildings are to:

  • Provide a quality environment for ITS employees
  • Encourage interaction and teamwork
  • Create functional, efficient workspaces
  • Promote creativity and innovation
  • Better utilize financial resources
