ReliaQuest Intern Coffee Hour
On Sept. 24, ReliaQuest visited ITS Intern Cohort program during an Intern Coffee Hour. Ryan Borum, senior manager of GreyMatter operations, and Sara Mirza, GreyMatter operations lead, spoke with interns about ReliaQuest’s operations and provided information about potential career paths with the company.
“The intern coffee hour was extremely informative,” said Courtney Stokes, a web design intern with the Integrated Communications team. Stokes added that the speakers offered practical career advice and that the connection didn’t end with the evnet. “Sara also came up the following week to do a ReliaQuest training, which I and several other interns attended, and was also super helpful.”
Jax Solide, an IT support and digital accessibility Intern for the Integrated Communications team, said, “It was an amazing opportunity to learn more about ReliaQuest, what their company is about and how they got to where they are now. I especially loved learning about the spring break lab opportunities.”
This visit reflects FSU’s broader partnership with ReliaQuest, which promotes research and the practical application of AI in cybersecurity. Intern Coffee Hours are one of many professional development opportunities that connect Intern Cohort members with industry professionals.
