
Anna Prentiss
Director of Media, Communications & Marketing
Anna Prentiss leads the Integrated Communications team, where she oversees the comprehensive marketing and communication strategies that advance the ITS profile across the Florida State University community. Her team is responsible for delivering unified, strategic content across digital and traditional platforms to support ITS services, projects, and strategic initiatives. They also manage the ITS web brand, ensuring accessibility compliance and clear communication during service-related incidents.
Anna has more than 14 years of experience at FSU, specializing in high-stakes messaging and complex digital projects. Prior to joining ITS, she served as the Assistant Director for News and Web Content in University Communications, where she led content strategy for fsu.edu and news.fsu.edu and directed global communications for university leadership. She also spent more than seven years as the College Communications Specialist for the FSU College of Fine Arts, where she oversaw marketing strategies, web development and digital assets for the college’s units.
Anna holds a Master of Science in Information Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art with an emphasis in Graphic Design, both from Florida State University. She also holds certificates in Information Leadership and Management, and Information Architecture.
In her spare time, Anna enjoys reading and spending time with her family outdoors.
