At Florida State University, we are committed to our students’ success. Through our partnership with Public Wireless, we aim to assist students with resources outside of the classroom to help our learners overcome challenges with finances, technology, and internet access. And guess what? As part of the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), all Pell Grant and low-income students can receive a 10.1 inch HD tablet device with internet connectivity at no charge! This means you can stay connected and access your coursework from anywhere, anytime. Whether you’re studying in the library, at home, or on the go, you’ll have the tools you need to succeed.
How do I get a free tablet?
This program is fully managed and supported by Public Wireless. To apply for a free tablet, please complete this short application. Once approved, Public Wireless will ship the device to the address you provided.

Who is eligible?
All Pell Grant and low-income students enrolled at Florida State University who are not already receiving a benefit as part of the ACP program.
What Is included?
If eligible, you will receive one new, 10.1 inch HD Andriod tablet, monthly internet connectivity with hotspot capability, hardcover case, screen protector, and a free warranty.

Do I get to keep the tablet with internet connectivity?
Yes, the tablet is yours to keep. In order to keep internet connectivity access, you will need to connect to the internet on the tablet at least once per month.
