Overview
This service supports a number of central data stores for Florida State University. These stores house student, employee, and financial data collected from various university systems such as myFSU HR and myFSU Student Central. Information in these stores provide support for reports, queries, analytics, and various transactions across the university. Some of these stores, such as Snowflake, support both structured and unstructured data and support additional use cases such as machine learning. Others, such as the Data Cache, support near real time data from various systems, collected and transformed into structures fit for the use cases involved. Departments either can have data elements added to these stores or request access to the data and garner accurate and timely insights from information available in the stores.
