FSU ITS Open House Recap
On November 16, FSU ITS hosted an open house event at the FSU Technology Services Building—an afternoon that brought ITS employees and campus partners together for networking and a celebration of achievements.
Each department within ITS was tasked with creating a poster that highlighted the team’s overall role, current projects, and a summary of responsibilities—although some groups decided to switch it up and include other things on the poster. The building was lined with posterboards for guests to walk through and glance at, and ITS employees were on hand to engage in conversations. A few teams had interactive games and giveaways, complete with a photobooth and snack room in the back of the building.
In addition, each ITS intern this semester made a poster that highlighted their accomplishments and activities they have experienced through the semester. “Intern Alley” at the entrance of the building was where the flurry of intern posters was on display. From there, employees and guests scattered throughout the building, networking and collaborating on all ITS accomplished this year.
All in all, the open house was a huge success, with more than 200 ITS employees and campus partners attending the event.
The high turnout and morale will carry us as we head into the new year—ready to reach new for new heights in 2023!
