We Are IT | Meet Chloe Arrington

Chloe Arrington joined ITS in October 2025 as the Marketing Communications Coordinator on the Integrated Communications team. She thrives in collaborative environments, bringing a passion for communication and a love of technology to brainstorming and project development. Chloe was raised in Australia and then spent nearly a decade in Canada before moving to the USA in 2017. Outside the office, she enjoys reading, sewing, gaming, producing digital content and visiting Disney World.
Where are you from?
I was raised in Brisbane, Australia, and then spent nearly a decade in Vancouver, Canada, before moving to the US in 2017.
Where did you attend school?
I completed my bachelor's at the University of Queensland, then my master's at Griffith University, both in Australia.
How long have you been at FSU?
I started in October of 2025.
Why did you choose to work in technology?
Though my passion is communications, I have always loved technology and gadgets. I never went into it professionally, but as an avid user and advocate of safe and sustainable technology, it is important to at least have a surface-level understanding of what is being developed around us and how it impacts us as individuals.
What is your role at FSU ITS?
Marketing Communications Coordinator for the Integrated Communications team.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
The collaborative environment. I absolutely love working on a team that brings different pieces of a project together. I love brainstorming and seeing where my own thoughts go when I incorporate the knowledge and passion of others.
What is the most rewarding project you have worked on at FSU?
It is only in the new year that I am jumping into my projects full scale after my training, so I am excited to see them all come to life.
What is your favorite app?
Right now, it would be either Finch (because we can not forget our self-care in 2026) or Jurassic World Alive.
If you were to invent one piece of technology, what would it be?
Contact lenses that are also 8K cameras. It would make vlogging amazing!
What is a fun fact about you?
Vacuuming is therapy for me; it is so satisfying!
Talk a little about your family.
My parents and two sisters still live in Australia, along with most of my extended family. My wife and her family are from Texas. We have been married for 8 years, and we still laugh at how big her family is compared to mine. She has more second cousins than I do total family members!
What do you do in your free time?
I love to read, sew, craft, play video games and I am getting into producing my own digital content this year. I am also a talent agent for several screen and voice actors, so we are at fan conventions fairly often. When I am not doing that, you will usually find me at Disney World.
