At the Information Technology Services (ITS) Spring town hall, the leadership team announced that ITS would be launching a new partnership with Microsoft to release a project called Viva. 

 

Microsoft Viva is an employee experience platform that delivers insight, purpose, connection, and growth to empower employees and teams to be their best from anywhere. 

By leveraging Viva Insights, Viva Learning and Viva Goals, staff members can benefit from the AI automated recommendations on learning, manage outstanding tasks within their work life, find time to catch up on outstanding tasks, or invest in personalized learning to fill a gap in their knowledge. Each person’s Viva experience is different because it is personalized to each individual and what you put into this application is what you will get out of it. Encourage others to start using Viva, share tips and tricks you discover, and most importantly find your balance. 

Microsoft Viva is currently a pilot program with just ITS, but staff members will be assessing the program to see if this is something we can offer the larger campus community in to find balance in your work life.    

 

This pilot has been a true partnership between Florida State University and Microsoft.   Through this effort, our team is exploring how new technologies can have an even larger impact on the campus community.
