This past Friday, November 22, 2024, ITS joined other organizations from the FSU community for the annual homecoming parade. ITS transformed their float into the Hard Drive Cafe as they 'tuned into tradition' for Homecoming 2024. The float was decorated with musical notes, a piano, and even a giant guitar. ITS staff rocked through the parade route from the Civic Center to Westcott, showing the FSU community that ITS rocks. This is the second year that ITS has participated in the Homecoming parade. Participating in homecoming has provided an opportunity to connect with each other and the FSU community.

ITS participates in the annual homecoming parade to foster connections between our staff and the FSU community, demonstrating our commitment to being active members on campus. It's also a great opportunity to make IT staff visible and highlight our contributions to the university's spirited community.

ITS provides technology support for the FSU community, and events like this help ITS meet that community. It connects us not only with each other but also with the community we serve. Along with our homecoming float, ITS was also represented through the homecoming court this year. ITS Application Development Intern Carlton Moss was honored to serve on the homecoming court this year. ITS contributes to the traditions and culture across FSU, from our full-time staff to our student workers in all areas.
