FSU’s Information Technology Services to host third annual RISE Together Showcase

Tuesday 03/24/2026

Florida State University’s Information Technology Services (ITS) will host the third annual ITS RISE Together Showcase on Tuesday, April 7. This half-day conference, which is free and open to the FSU community, provides an opportunity to connect with Information Technology (IT) thought leaders, attend hands-on sessions and explore the projects that are shaping the future of campus technology.

“The RISE Together Showcase represents the very best of FSU. It brings together research, instruction, innovation, security and student success in one unified experience,” says Jonathon Fozard, Associate Vice President and Chief Information Officer at FSU. “This event demonstrates how technology is not simply supporting the university’s mission but actively accelerating it. The Showcase reflects how FSU is aligning strategy, talent and technology to drive measurable impact across research, instruction and operations. When we rise together, innovation becomes transformation.”

The showcase kicks off at 1 PM at the Augustus B. Turnbull III Florida State Conference Center. The schedule is comprised of three session blocks featuring live presentations, each lasting 50 minutes.

The first session runs from 1-1:50 PM and covers the following topics:

"What makes the RISE Together Showcase special is not just the technology. It is the people behind it,” Fozard shares. “Our faculty, staff and students are working together in new and powerful ways to reimagine how we teach, learn, conduct research and serve the state. This event celebrates that collective momentum.”
