Upgrading to a new device is super exciting, but still requires some thought and planning to keep it secure. If you got a new device recently, keep these tech tips in mind to keep your devices safe from cyber threats!  

Microsoft 365 

Utilize Office 365 to access web-based versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other tools, allowing you to work on documents from any location with an internet connection and web browser.   • Microsoft Teams 
    • Microsoft Teams is your all-in-one hub for remote collaboration. It offers real-time chat, video conferencing, and file sharing, making teamwork easy and efficient. Whether you’re attending remote classes or working from home, Teams has features like document collaboration and task management to help you stay organized and productive. 
  • Microsoft One Drive 
    • Microsoft One Drive is your secure cloud storage solution, allowing you to access your files from anywhere with an internet connection. It lets you store, share and collaborate on files seamlessly, making remote work or classes a breeze. With easy integration with Microsoft Office apps, you can edit documents together in real-time, keeping everyone on the same page. 
  • Microsoft Lens 
    • Looking for a way to capture clear images of your notes or whiteboard sketches during study sessions? Microsoft Lens offers a camera built into OneNote for iPad or iPhone that lets you take enhanced pictures of whiteboards or printed documents. It eliminates shadows and distortions, ensuring that your photos are crisp and easy to read, even with extensive text. 
  • Microsoft Planner 
    • With Microsoft Planner, you can create and set plans or timelines for teams and share them throughout various Microsoft apps. Get your group projects tasks done alongside your individual tasks right from where you're working in Microsoft Teams using the Tasks app. Organization features include ways to assign tasks, leave comments, share documents and update progress all in one place. 

Qualtrics: Online Surveys 

Need to build a survey for a class project or data gathering tool? Qualtrics is an online survey platform that enables users to design, share, and analyze surveys efficiently. It offers a wide range of customizable survey templates and advanced features, such as branching logic, randomization and data visualization tools for a personalized survey.
