STF Spotlight: Kumo
The days of struggling to find your VLab files on a different computer are over. We listened to your feedback about needing an easier way to save your files when using Campus computers or programs like VLab. Thanks to funding from the Student Technology Fee we are able to provide a resource that will make file saving easier for all of campus. Kumo enables students, faculty, and staff to easily access their files within the myFSUVlab virtual apps environment, no matter where they are! These files will be located in your O: drive, also known as the FSU OneDrive.
Through the Kumo client, these files are ready to go within seconds of logging in. You get access to
- 24/7 access | online availability via any web browser with your FSUID and password
- Mac and PC compatible | runs on any Windows, Mac or mobile device
- Downloadable files | easy to save, print or transfer files between myFSUVLab and your device
Check out our spotlight on our ITS YouTube channel to hear more about how Kumo is helping students with their research and be sure to visit the ITS service catalog for more information on how to set up Kumo for your FSU account fully.
