Robert Fuselier
Senior Director, Office of Digital Learning & Academic Technology
Robert Fuselier leads the Office of Digital Learning & Academic Technologies (ODL), where he oversees the operational management and administrative functions of the department. ODL is dedicated to supporting numerous projects and services on campus, aimed at providing students, faculty, and staff with a seamless and innovative teaching and learning experience.
Robert has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry, serving in the private sector, non-profit organizations, and higher education. In 2009, Robert joined FSU to support FSU’s learning management system and academic technology.
Robert is a proud two-time FSU alumnus, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in information studies and his master’s degree in information technology, where he also completed a graduate certificate in information leadership and management. He has also served as an adjunct professor in the College of Communication and Information, teaching Introduction to Web Design.
When he’s not at work, you can find Robert coaching middle school robotics, volunteering with the local Boy Scouts with his son and playing the banjo. He also enjoys kayaking with friends and spending time in the great outdoors.
The highlight of my job is having the opportunity to collaborate with talented partners across campus to provide a great experience for faculty and students at FSU.
