The hunt is on, and you're invited. ITS will be hosting an interactive cross-campus scavenger hunt this August as a part of our back to campus Tech Takeover campaign. The event will be included in FSU Welcome Week and is open to all students. So come one, come all (freshman to seniors).

Everyone will start on Landis Green and all competitors will be sorted into groups of 3-5. Teams will then be given a clue sheet with riddles to guide them to each of the hunt’s locations. Each location will be an iconic building or landmark on FSU’s campus that will promote exploration while teaching every competitor about some of the incredible services available to students as well as some fun facts every Nole should know. Once a team has found a location, they must locate the puzzle piece hidden nearby. After a team has found all the puzzle pieces, they must put the puzzle together to discover the password. The first team to give the password at the finish line will reign supreme as Tech Takeover Hunt Champions, earning themselves full bragging rights as well as a free FSU crewneck for each team member.

This event is a part of a larger ITS initiative to welcome back all students to FSU In addition to the scavenger hunt event, our Tech Takeover will also include printed flyers located in every dorm hall that will guide students through setting up their tech on campus, a booth at the Involvement Fair with a prize wheel and lots of swag to giveaway and a new webpage that will provide a comprehensive guide to all you need to know about tech on campus, including what resources are available and what technology support is at students’ disposal.
