Teaching and advising tools available in myFSU Mobile app

Tuesday 06/20/2017

In the latest Digital Campus Initiative release, Information Technology Services (ITS) adds more functionality to the myFSU Mobile app. After a series of releases earlier this year that ramped up student interactions with the app, the latest release shifts the focus to employees. Starting today, faculty and advisors at Florida State University are able to use the app to access content tailored to their role at FSU. Faculty can access a mobile version of Faculty Center and all the tools required to manage classes, including class rosters to immediately check and submit first day attendance, grade rosters to input final semester grades from any mobile device, and a link to the new Canvas mobile learning management system. Academic advisors also will be particularly happy with the latest release, which gives them the platform to advise on the go or even take advising sessions to the students with mobile access to essential advising tools. All of this functionality—and much more—is available in the app’s Faculty & Staff persona. To take advantage of all the app offers, download myFSU Mobile for free from iTunes or Google Play.
