ITS open house welcomes campus to TSB
ITS welcomed more than 70 guests to the recently renovated Technology Services Building (TSB) yesterday during our Open House event.
The Open House was a way for campus to explore the new space and meet some new faces. Guests from Finance and Administration, Admissions, Facilities, the College of Education and countless other university colleges and departments filled the building.
“We had a really great turn out and I heard nothing but excellent feedback. I am so proud of how the event turned out,” said Jane Livingston, associate vice president and chief information officer.
As part of the event, ITS hosted a poster session to encourage guests to learn more about the myriad services ITS supports. Thirty-nine ITS units participated in the poster session and highlighted the amazing work they do to support technology across the university. Poster topics ranged from familiar applications such as myFSU Portal to behind-the-scenes but integral services like core networking and identity access management.
Overall, it was a great afternoon to showcase ITS work and socialize with campus partners. And there was cake.
Thank you to everyone who came out to visit us at our new location in Innovation Park.
In the words of Jane Livingston, “Our house is officially warmed!”
