ITS Cyber Bowl winners announced
Competition was tough this year at Florida State University during National Cybersecurity Awareness Month.
The football-themed campaign was a showdown of Noles vs. cyberthreats. As part of the campaign, FSU students and employees competed in an online game to test their cybersecurity defense. Players had to answer questions on topics such as social media privacy, passwords and online shopping habits to be entered in the prize drawing. Nearly 2,000 Noles participated in the game, and four lucky winners scored big with grand prizes.
- Stephanie Hefelfinger – $500 scholarship
- Adreenah Wynn – $500 scholarship
- Mike Hammock – Dell XPS 13 laptop
- Mimi Hamrick – FSU vs. Boston College football game tickets
In addition to the online game, ITS hosted cybersecurity training sessions, campus information booths and a cybersecurity movie night at the Student Life Cinema, making 2018 one of FSU’s busiest cybersecurity campaigns yet.
Thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s cybersecurity campaign and helped make the campaign a success.
