FSU Dropbox Makes File Sharing Easy

Monday 02/01/2016

Tired of waiting forever to upload and send large email attachments, only to have your message kicked back because the file is too big? Try FSU Dropbox!

FSU Dropbox makes it easy to share large files, including documents, pictures, videos and more. Files up to 3GB in size can be uploaded and shared with colleagues at Florida State University as well as outside contacts. This works great if you’re collaborating on, say, a large presentation or graphic-heavy design files.

A recent update to FSU Dropbox gave the site a new look, added functionality—and most importantly—increased security. The updated, intuitive design delivers all the familiar functionality, plus allows users to request specific files with the new “Request a Code” feature. Also, non-FSU users are now required to complete a two-step process to verify their email before they drop-off a file, which provides added security.

Finally, take a minute to update any bookmarks or website links to point to the new URL for FSU Dropbox: http://dropbox.fsu.edu
