Director of Network Communication Technologies
Don is responsible for the expansion and upkeep of communication technologies and infrastructure for all FSU campuses, including core networking, Wi-Fi, LANs, phone services, and cable TV. His team is spearheading the university’s transition to a sustainable, centrally-managed network communications model.
Prior to joining FSU, Don served as the director of engineering at Hayes Computer Systems where he helped shift the company from a commodities-based revenue model to services-based revenue model. Don, who has progressed through numerous technical leadership roles over his 30-year career, also was the national planning manager for Sprint ANS where he was responsible for fiber optic data networks deployed throughout the nation.
Outside of work, Don is an avid camper and is the founder of a Winnebago Fuse Owners Group.
