1) Select Tools and then select Account Settings from the menu Tbird_exchange2010_step1
2) From the drop down menu labeled Account Actions, select Add Mail Account from the menu Tbird_exchange2010_step2

3) Fill in the information on the Mail Account Setup screen and hit continue, click Manual Config when the option becomes available

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • FSUID password

4) Make sure your Mail Account Setup page looks similar to the following:

  • Incoming: Choose "IMAP" and enter "outlook.office365.com" under Server hostname, "993" under Port, "SSL/TLS" under SSL, and "Normal password" under Authentication
  • Outgoing: Enter "smtp.office365.com" under Server hostname, "587" under Port, "STARTTLS" under SSL, and 'Normal password" under Authentication 
  • Username: Enter your FSUID in the format FSUID@fsu.edu

5) Once your screen looks like the above, select Re-test to verify your setting and click Done to finish
