Web Content Management System (WCMS)

Florida State University's web content management system (WCMS) makes it easier than ever to create and maintain mobile-first, brand-approved websites. The WCMS-available at no cost to all FSU colleges and departments-offers a quick and simple editing experience while still delivering a host of features and functionality to help build modern, feature-rich websites.

  • Mobile-first design | makes websites easy to read and navigate across a wide range of devices
  • Branded template | create a more polished and consistent look across FSU's web presence
  • WYSIWYG display | allows people with little or no experience to build and maintain professional websites
  • Inline editing | quickly and easily edit content directly on any webpage with the pop-up editing toolbar
  • Customizable forms | collect input on everything from customer feedback to event registrations
  • Social media integration | dozens of modules integrate websites with Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and more

Florida State University uses Drupal, an open source WCMS, which is hosted and supported on the Acquia Platform.

Don't worry. Drupal doesn't require a steep learning curve. But we still recommend taking some time to learn your way around. We have assembled a page with links to helpful videos by OSTraining in partnership with Acquia.  Follow the link below to familiarize yourself with Drupal. If additional help is needed, browse the additional links on this page or feel free to schedule one-on-one training with Web Services by emailing: its-webservices@fsu.edu.
