SharePoint Online improves collaboration at FSU

Tuesday 02/28/2017

SharePoint Online, a cloud-based collaboration tool from Microsoft, is available to all Florida State University departments. Faculty and staff can use SharePoint Online to create department sites and then share information with others inside or outside of FSU. SharePoint Online integrates with other Office 365 apps, making it easy to store and access shared department files and collaborate with team members to keep projects moving, whether you’re in the office or on the go. It’s like having your department’s intranet right in your pocket. SharePoint Online replaces the university’s existing SharePoint environment, and Information Technology Services (ITS) will migrate existing university SharePoint sites to SharePoint Online beginning spring 2017. To request a new SharePoint Online site, review the data use guidelines and submit a support request via the FSU Service Center.
