Outlook’s new Focused Inbox feature helps organize email
In the coming weeks, Microsoft will introduce a new feature in Outlook—Focused Inbox—to help organize the email you receive. Focused Inbox will be available to all students, faculty, staff and alumni with FSU email accounts.
Focused Inbox separates your inbox into two tabs: Focused and Other. These tabs sort high-priority email from less important messages, allowing you to focus on the messages that matter most to you. Your most important emails will appear in the Focused tab. Emails you are less likely to read, such as newsletters and bulk mail, will remain out of the way but easily accessible in the Other tab. You can toggle between tabs or turn Focused Inbox on or off at any time.
Focused Inbox, which will eventually replace the Clutter folder, is currently available in the Outlook app for mobile devices and soon will be available for desktop devices.
