New Customer Service Application - FSU Service Center
On August 23, 2011, the current campus-wide ticketing system, known as Parature or FSU Help Desk, will be replaced with a new application called "FSU Service Center". The implementation design team has focused on improving simplicity, speed and reliability of the new system, while preserving today's functionality. While web-based links and email addresses you use today will not change, the menu and submission process will look quite a bit different.
On the launch date, all web links to submit and manage tickets (or cases) will be redirected to the new self-service web portal. Accessing the system will require your FSUID and password; same as OMNI and Blackboard. Although prior email submission methods will still work,incomplete information may delay a response or resolution to your request. Therefore, you are encouraged to take advantage of the portal as it has been redesigned for easier submission and more efficient auto routing to the correct resolution area. On or after the launch date, all of your personal web browser bookmarks and other documentation should be updated to reflect the new system URL which will be located at http://servicecenter.fsu.edu.
