Password Help
FSUID, Employee or Student Email accounts and Blackboard Passwords:
How do I change my password? - Please note that effective on the date of 05/21/2013 your new password must be different from the last SEVEN passwords used.
- There is a "Reset your password" link on http://campus.fsu.edu
OR
- Log into campus.fsu.edu
- Select the Secure Apps Tab (top right menu option)
- Select the link FSUID Identity Management
- At the bottom center of this page, select the Reset Password link to reset / synchronize your passwords
- Follow the instructions and select Submit.
Password Requirements
- Must be at least 8 characters in length
- Must contain at least one alpha character (a-z) and one numeric character (0-9)
- Must contain at least one non-alphanumeric character
- For example: - = + # * ( ) [ ] { } < > ! @ $
- Must not use any obvious, easy-to-guess, or dictionary words
- Must not use any date format
- Must not use any one of the 3 most recent passwords
What do I do if I forgot my username?
Call the ITS-Service Center at (850) 644-HELP (4357)
Northwest Regional Data Center (NWRDC)
If you have forgotten your NWRDC password or need it changed, please call the ITS Service Center at (850) 644-HELP (4357) to have your password reset.
***The only NWRDC passwords the ITS Service Center can reset are for User IDs that start with fs (ie. fs1234).***
To request a new NWRDC account or make changes to an existing account, please navigate to our Access Forms page and follow the instructions there.
Novell
You may change your own Novell password, but must know your current password.
- Once you have logged in, press the CTL,ALT,DEL keys all at once.
- On the next window, click CHANGE PASSWORD.
- You will need to type your old password.
- Type your new password. Confirm your new password.
- Click Ok. You should see a confirmation that your password was changed successfully.
